Chapter 912: Reincarnation Betrayed
Chapter 912: Reincarnation Betrayed
The Alphaverse.Apex Pyramid.
Thousands of meters above the highest peak of the Pyramid, the All-King floated
"Hmm," The All-King smiled with pure ecstasy.
He was naked.
Purely naked.
His arms were stretched out, and his legs were spread wide as he seemed to embrace the universe around him.
War raged on and millions died every day, but he was here, embracing it all because he knew that he truly had a chance.
The All-King could see it now. He could see the future, and he saw that he had a chance to be a part of it.
No, he had to make sure of it. He had to make sure that the future would only exist if he was in it.
And that was why he was so joyful right now, not even bothering to put on any clothes.
The chances of him succeeding with what he wanted were increasing exponentially.
All the calculations and probability equations he had been calculating for many months now seemed to smile at him.
"Hahahaha, Reincarnation, stop disturbing me!" Kael bellowed as he bared his golden metallic teeth at the sky.
The amount of golden screens in front of his face was staggering and it was good that he was the only one who was seeing it
His mind was being flooded with information that would generally paralyse another person.
The amount of information he was absorbing every minute would take most mortals decades to process.
Even computers and artificial intelligence would not be able to keep up with Kael’s processing speed.
The mind of the All-King had gone quantum now, processing millions of probabilities every single second.
Looking at the screen, his eyes got wider and wider, filled with excitement.
Nine hundred plus Primordials.
The list of creatures in his League of Primordials was now showing Nine Hundred.
No, it was showing...
[Primordials: 1000]
’So fast,’ The All-King gasped.
His eyes which were usually dark now blinked with bright light and serious ferocity.
*BOOM!*
An explosion went off in Kael’s head and his eyes shot out two beams of golden energy.
The smile on Kael’s face was wiped off.
He didn’t know what just happened.
He looked over and saw that those two beams of light had dissolved before they could do anything.
That was good. The All-King had to be very careful. He was not the type of person who should be having accidental discharge of energy.
Especially not here, if he didn’t want to cause unnecessary damage.
At the same time, the All-King brought his arms down and looked at his surroundings. He looked into his body, seeing the speed with which his blood was flowing through his body.
He observed his heart, and he observed his power pool which had evolved drastically right now.
As the Primordial Lion, he was technically supposed to have just eighteen power pools.
Right now, he has numerous.
Seventeen were meant to represent his connection to his consorts.
Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Metal, Electricity, Vegetation, Spirit, Magus, Space, Time, Demonic, Celestial, Anti, Fortune, Ice, and War.
With his own personal pool of Conquering Essence, that was meant to be eighteen in total.
Right now, what Kael was seeing was more than one thousand pools.
So fascinating.
With his golden pool above all else, Kael had access to one thousand laws that he could command.
But there was an issue that had just sprouted at this moment.
Firstly, Kael barely used lion powers besides his personal powers. The power pools he got from his consorts were no longer giving him power.
Instead, he was the one supplying them with special essence that made them the avatars they were.
His Conquering Essence was dissolved into seventeen different strains that flowed into the pools of his consorts.
As for the other power pools, they were formed after those Primordials submitted to him.
Just then, another alert came as another power pool started forming.
’Shit’ Kael complained as he sensed the new Law of Longevity being integrated.
"Wait, no..." Kael exclaimed as he sensed that something was deeply wrong with him.
He removed his vision from his body and observed his environment. Kael saw that his skin was starting to take on a shimmering glow and his bones itched.
This was not normal. It shouldn’t be. It shouldn’t happen unless he was the one controlling it.
But Kael was not doing this. He had no control over this skin glow and that was not a good sign, especially with how the glow was increasing in intensity.
"No..." Kael muttered, a deep frown on his face.
"All-king, is something wrong?" Down below, stepping out of the Apex Pyramid, Phoebe, the last addition to Kael’s harem, flew out.
She had sensed a very troubling disturbance before and had come to check, wondering who would be so bold as to attack this place during this precarious time.
She was surprised to see that the All-King was the only one outside in the surrounding vicinity and for some reason, he was glowing.
"Stay back," Kael said, his voice significantly more commanding and magnetic than it had been before to Phoebe.
She had noticed the change right from the time she and he had copulated. It was indeed a glorious and pleasurable experience, nothing could compare.
But along with the gradual change in her powers after waking up from her evolutionary slumber, she had also noticed that Kael’s voice was way more commanding to her.
There was a certain authoritative power that Kael had gained after completing his harem and completing his Consort Array. His control over the lions had reached a degree that even they had not yet noticed.
"Move away," Kael said again as he began to fly higher.
He finally understood what was happening to him.
It was a serious matter actually.
Two very specific things were happening to the All-King right now and if he didn’t handle it with surgical precision, he might die and wipe out everyone here in the process.
Firstly, he was growing too fast. His mind, body, soul, and Essence could not possibly keep up with his rate of growth.
Previously, when he found two hundred plus Primordials on Planet Gadi, the submission of all of them had caused him to forcefully evolve on the spot to Mid Level Immortal Tier.
Now that he just crossed the one thousand mark for the number of Primordials, his Conquering Essence pool was cracking wide open and spilling excess energy out of his body.
If it was just that, Kael would simply be able to divert the excess energy to the systems and he would be free to use it however he wanted.
But things weren’t that simple. His body was crumbling under the weight of so many laws.
Many of those laws were conflicting with each other too.
Kael’s body and soul would have to adapt and he would have to achieve an unholy level of comprehension for his body to operate normally again.
Basically, it was an evolve or die scenario.
Secondly, Kael had just betrayed Reincarnation and she was definitely not happy about it.
Normally, Kael would not be able to do anything to Reincarnation, the Owl Goddess.
Even if she stood still and let Kael attack her with all his might, she still wouldn’t feel anything. The distance between her and the All-King was too great.
She only needed him for the sake of insurance against what the Highest Will was going to do very soon.
So, even if she gave him a Fragment of her soul to keep with him, Kael still couldn’t do anything to it.
Technically...
Unfortunately, that was not how things were going to be, not after Kael just conquered the Primordial Hydra of Souls.
Kael had been planning this for a long time.
Although he hadn’t explicitly planned out how everything would turn out, the intention was there right from the start.
To conquer all through any means necessary.
When Kael got the fragmented soul of Reincarnation, the intention to maximize his profit was already there.
In truth, since he was planning on stabbing her in the back, he too had been wary that she may have given him false information on the locations of those Primordials.
Apparently, she didn’t, which meant she was actually genuine with her intentions. Kael was the one who was not.
But it didn’t matter.
Because he just backstabbed her, he now had an advantage that would change the course of the war.
It was fully worth it.
He had used her fragmented soul to siphon Reincarnation Essence without permission, fueling the creation of the Second Chance Insurance Feature.
Unfortunately, because of this Reincarnation was retaliating. She did not take back her Reincarnation Essence, she couldn’t.
Under the Law of Souls, her fragmented soul was technically under Kael’s control, in a twisted sort of way.
So instead, she flooded Kael’s systems with Reincarnation Essence.
She sought to punish Kael by giving him more than what he could chew.
The results of her actions were not certain and Kael was definitely not waiting around to see what happened next.
Immediately, with his skin glowing brighter and brighter, he contacted Seth.
