Chapter 639 Under The Skeleton

Chapter 639 Under The Skeleton

Eccar stood his ground as the six figures moved toward him. He gritted his teeth, feeling the rage boil within him aftere the memories of his capture and the mocking disdain of these damned people.

His Dragon Scales glowed more intensely than ever, their brown and black hues now streaked with a radiant light that pulsed like a heartbeat. Eccar didn't notice the change because his focus was locked on his enemies.

The crimson-coated man was the first to strike, his flames are red and look like a burning blood. It curling into a torrent as he charged forward. The fire clawing at the air as it surged toward Eccar.

Krevak followed close behind with his golden flames swirling in elegant and deadly arcs.

Eccar reacted to them instantly. He slamming his fist into the ground and summoning a towering wall of earth. The flames clashed against it, sending waves of heat and smoke into the air.

The crimson fire hissed and sizzled, leaving molten grooves in the barrier, while Krevak's golden flames created cracks that glowed with intense heat.

With a roar, Eccar shattered his own wall and sending shards of earth hurtling at his attackers. The crimson-coated man leapt aside with a snarl but Krevak stood in his place, deflecting the projectiles with a sweep of his flames.

"This damned Dragon just feigned his weakness!" Krevak said with annoyed face.

Before the other avatars could respond, the black-coated leader raised a han signaling them to hold back.

"Stand down," the leader commanded. His piercing gaze locked onto Eccar, studying him like a predator sizing up its prey. "I want to see what he's truly capable of."

The others exchanged wary glances but obeyed.

Eccar snarled, his fists clenching. "What's the matter? Afraid to fight me all at once?"

The black-coated leader's expression didn't change, but there was a faint flicker of amusement in his cold eyes.

"Afraid, you say? I just want you to prove to me that your strength is worth my time," the black coated man said.

Eccar smirk and feeling his rage transform into focused determination. The light emanating from his scales grew brighter. He crouched slightly, preparing to launch himself forward.

"You want to see what I can do?" he roared, slamming his fists together. The ground beneath him trembled, fissures spreading outward in jagged lines. "Then come and see!"

Erend's gaze lingered on each one of them, taking in their features and their aura of power.

"So that's them?"

Erend thought grimly. "

The avatars of gods."

He clenched his fists, the veins in his arms bulging as anger bubbled to the surface. These are the people who had captured and tortured Eccar and insulted their kind.

"Time to take revenge on those bastards."

But Erend held himself back for now. He crouched low behind a jagged outcrop of rock, watching the battle unfold. Eccar was holding his own, his Dragon Scales glowing brighter than Erend had ever seen. He was sure that its because of this place.

Eccar slammed a fist into the ground, sending a wave of jagged rocks hurtling toward the crimson-coated man. The man dodged with a speed from his fire and the sand explode in his wake. He immediately countering with a whip of molten fire.

Eccar raised a wall of earth just in time, the molten whip splattering against it with a hiss.

Krevak used the distraction to leap forward, his flames forming a gilded blade in his hand. He aimed a strike at Eccar's exposed body but Eccar turned and catching the blade on his Dragon Scales with a deafening clang. Sparks flew as Krevak's fire clashed with Eccar's Magic-infused armor.

---

Erend's eyes darted to the black-coated leader standing apart from the fight. His posture was relaxed, his hands clasped behind his back, but his eyes never left Eccar.

"He's waiting and testing him for now. These bastards think they're so untouchable."

His fingers twitched, longing to summon his own Dragon Scales and launch into the fray. But he forced himself to stay put. Eccar's fight was revealing valuable information. Each movement, each attack, each word from the avatars gave away their strengths and tactics.

He would strike soon. But first, he would learn everything he could.
