Chapter 366: First Day As Personal Secretary

"Fuck this shit...."

Lucas cursed under his breath as he quicken his speed.

Currently he was in rather long, private area building of Nova Academy.

Here only selected people can enter, staff of the academy and Student Council Members.

Yeah this area is where office of student council located.

...And right now Lucas is on his way to student council president.

Lucas’s was very tired.

After 2 hours training with Yato before academy classes starts, Lucas was already exasuted.

But he still held on.

Thankfully today was theory class rathithen practical class.

So Lucas could rest there.

But after the class were over, it was time for special Training Program.

And it was hell.

And after all of that, It was time for Lucas to work as students council president personal secretary.

Lucas didn’t want to go but what choice he have? He has to go.

So after special Training Program, Lucas directly Student Council President office.

He was already late on his first day and let’s not mention he was tired.

That’s why Lucas cursed.

Anyway, Lucas ran through the corridor towards the student council president, he looked like a man who is late for a very important meeting in his office.

After reaching her office, a lady escorted him to the training room where Seraphina was training.

He didn’t think he would be called to the training room on the very first day.

Following the lady, he reached a wide area that was a huge training ground. It would be large enough for half of the students combined in the first-year dorm.

"First we will go through with your training session as promised. Since I have already decided to take you under my wing, I will have to train you to raise your proficiency so that at the least you can keep up with your work." She explained and asked him to follow her.

’No more traning!!!’

Lucas screamed inwardly, his body is already in lots of pain since all day and even he have to train.

Lucas wanted to complain, But one look from her eyes and Lucas decided to keep his mouth shut.

’Dont worry Lucas this is nothing. You have to just endure for while.’

Lucas thought as he conceal himself.

But Alas that while going to take some time as he will be Seraphina Personal secretary for one month.

So for one month his work load has been tripple.

Anyway, standing before the training dummy, she asked Lucas about his primary weapon and asked him to pick the swords from the stand.

Lucas hurriedly ran towards the weapons stand and picked up two swords and came back near the dummy and handed one sword to Seraphina.

Seraphina took the sword and spoke, "Watch me carefully."

Seraphina pointed her swords towards the dummy and glared at the dummy like a beast. Drawing a light breath, she instantly changed her stance to the charging position.

Before Lucas could barely see anything, the dummy was flying in an instant and while it was in midair she quickly disappeared from there spot she was standing and appeared before the dummy and quickly stabbed at its thigh, waist, heart and throat which were all executed in a single sequence which looked like perfect textbook examples of accurate stabbing.

"Lucas, did you see clearly? This is a classic attack of the heros who defended the barrier borders that separate us from Demon continent. You first break through the enemy defence by the charge attack and when you found the opening, you finish them quickly by striking at thier vital spots. Every part of these movements can be refined to be used as you fit. Your role is to execute this type of attack without giving a chance to counter the enemy." Seraphina spoke coldly as he looked at the dummy.

"A properly trained hero can execute all these movements like it is in thier instincts. What you need to do is to practice as much as possible so that each move and strike of your sword is engraved deep in both your heart and mind. So that even when you are asleep, you can still perform these attacks flawlessly."

Lucas nodded, trying to absorb every word she said. He took his stance in front of the dummy, mimicking Seraphina’s posture as best as he could.

Seraphina watched him intently. "Focus, Lucas. Breathe steadily and keep your eyes on the target. Your movements should be fluid and precise."

Lucas took a deep breath, his muscles tense from fatigue but his mind sharp. He charged at the dummy, attempting to replicate Seraphina’s swift and deadly strikes. His form was far from perfect, but he was determined to improve.

"Again," Seraphina commanded, her tone leaving no room for hesitation. "Your grip is too tight. Loosen up and let the sword become an extension of your arm."

Lucas adjusted his grip and tried again, this time moving more fluidly. The dummy shook slightly with each hit, but it didn’t fly like it did when Seraphina attacked.

"Better," Seraphina acknowledged, "but you need to be faster and more precise. Your enemies won’t wait for you to perfect your technique. They will exploit every weakness."

Lucas kept practicing, sweat pouring down his face and arms burning from the exertion.
