Chapter 931: Creating the Maid Universe
Chapter 931: Creating the Maid Universe
Many eyes widened at the sudden offer.
It was a chance—a rare opportunity.
The first one to raise their hand was a beggar. He smiled, and his body dissolved into motes of light that flew into the sky with his soul.
One by one and like a rush of flood, light came from every part of the Spirit World. Those without fortune left in hopes of a better future. A few elitess who had the money gritted their teeth and raised their hands.
They knew what kind of opportunity this was, and it was a big gamble.
An hour later, the lights stopped coming, and he held a golden metal chalice in his hand. A pool swirled within containing the souls of many.
"About half of the Spirit World decided to come with me. You don't have any problem with that, right?" Lawrend asked the avatar of the Spirit World.
"None."
The eye vanished into the crack in the sky.
"Veronica!"
"Yes, Father!"
Veronica straightened her back.
"Since you're my first child, hold this and come to the Human World with me."
Lawrend flicked his hand, and Veronica, his daughter, flew up towards him. She blinked her eyes as she looked down at the others who were watching her fly up.
"I can fly…!"
Lawrend gave her the chalice.
"We will back."
When they reappeared, Lawrend and Veronica were standing above the sky of the Human World.
A figure appeared as soon as they formed. It was the avatar of the Human World. She stared at Lawrend with trepidation and dislike.
"What do you want?"
"This was where I grew up. I suppose I have the right to do what I'm about to do."
"What do you mean?"
"Stop me if you don't like it."
Lawrend shrugged.
Just like in the Spirit World, he said the same thing to the population of the Human World. The avatar glared at him, however, she didn't try to stop him.
"As long as you leave after this. Do as you like."
"I know you understand."
Lawrend smiled and collected the lights of the souls and bodies of the population of the Human World.
Many of these were from the cities he had passed by in his journey. A few of them were even from the Yttervia Demihuman Cat Tribe. These were demihumans, and yet the avatar treated them the same as humans.
Nevertheless, a few of them regarded Lawrend as a legend and decided to follow him.
"I'm done here. Bye, Avatar of the Human World."
Lawrend left with Veronica holding a chalice on each of her hand. The young girl looked at them with a reserved expression. Seeing so many souls felt surreal to her.
Reavire's tense nerves relaxed when she saw him reappear.
"I was worried the avatar would have attacked you."
"Hahaha. If I brought you maybe she would have, but she didn't."
Lawrend stood among his maids. They all watched him with anticipation on their faces.
"Stay in my world for now."
Two gigantic maid hands appeared out of thin air and formed a giant heart portal to his other world.
Everyone entered inside and Lawrend was the last one to step through.
"Bye, Avatar of the Spirit World."
Lawrend looked around the lively atmosphere of his women. They all looked around them with excitement as they saw the lush world.
Valentina looked at the ground with a faint smile.
"Do you remember being here as a giant tree?" Lawrend casually asked.
"Yes."
Valentina smiled.
She was now a Sub-God so she could feel a strong connection with this world from her growing up here as a tree. In fact, many of the plants everywhere were descended from her magic.
"Veronica, hold onto those while I'm gone. Your Aunt Reavire will take care of your safety."
She nodded with a solemn expression.
"Everyone!"
Lawrend caught the attention of his women and children.
"I'll be going."
Lawrend bid his temporary farewell to each of them. He told his children to practice their magic in the meantime.
After taking one last look at them, Lawrend took a step forward.
When his footsteps landed, he was floating in the middle of his proto-universe. An echoing energy permeated all directions as if the whole place roared to change.
Lawrend took another step.
He used the infinite space of his proto-universe, and when he reappeared, he was at the edge of the universe of the Creator.
The Creator stood behind him with a faint smile.
"Your path is unique."
"Yours too…" Lawrend whispered and turned behind him.
The universe he had lived in had become a cloud behind the Creator. Everything existed within that infinite region of space. However, there were also things that couldn't exist due to the natural laws.
As he neared the boundary of Flawed God, he could see that this universe was unique on its right. It was a universe of love and warmth. If he was still a Shattered God, he would have not seen anything at all.
He took another step, and he officially left the universe.
Turning around, Lawrend saw nothing. The universe that had been there was now gone. Replacing it was a vast expanse of nothing. It was a complete void.
"The meaning of something and nothing are ultimately in the mind."
Lawrend closed his eyes. He took a thousand steps, taking him farther and farther until he couldn't feel anything from every direction anymore.
"This is a perfect place."
A young universe appeared behind Lawrend's back. It expanded across every dimension, up and down, left and right, forward and back, and then it created its own time.
He watched as the big bang repeated. This time, the maid energy transformed into galaxies, stars, planets, and life. It all happened in such a short amount of time.
It was as if it had always been.
There was yet to be intelligent life, but it was fine. Lawrend expected as such.
"My world… come here!"
Lawrend waved his hand, and his connection to his world with its planetary system vibrated like a string of a guitar. He tugged it back with a swipe of his arm.
A planetary system appeared out of the void. Its natural laws were invaded by the natural law of the universe.
In a quick second, it had become a complete part of this universe.
"Are you all right?"
Lawrend asked as he landed on the planet. He smiled widely as he had become no different from a mortal.
With a universe at his control, he had completed his ascension to Flawed God. He was still a step below the Creator, but it mattered no longer.
His maids were protected in his universe.
"Master! Veronica was sucked into a vortex made of space and time!" Aezel shouted.
Lawrend's eyes reflected his whole universe, and he found a trace of Veronica.
"She ended up on Earth at the year 2100?!"
