Almighty Father System

Chapter 515: E

Chapter 515: E

Dawn and Grace exited the cab, and Hannah said, "I will return at noon with lunch. Do not eat junk food lest you fall sick."The two youngsters nodded to her. Dawn had read about the examination on the Internet. The college entrance examination was a comprehensive examination. The students will be tested on all the questions. The exam was conducted in two sets; the first consisted of chemistry, physics, and maths. The second set covered intellectual and general knowledge subjects like language, history, and philosophy.

Hannah talked to them briefly and then left to handle her work. The center was located in another school to prevent the students from leveraging the familiar surroundings. Dawn fished out his phone as he watched the other class members gather in a spot and called Saffron.

The girl answered quickly and said, "I am almost there. Also, it’s done. The black flag will be coming down soon."

Dawn replied, "Okay."

The call was concluded, and Grace said, "Trevor is here."

Dawn turned to look at the side and found Trevor silently glaring at himself. The former sneered in provocation, and Trevor clenched his fists. The former class monitor resented Dawn for his fall. Hank dismissed him as the class monitor, and Grace was chosen to replace him. Trevor resented Dawn and Grace equally.

When they were engaged in a stare-down, Saffron arrived, and the three showed their hall tickets to the guard. They were all placed in a jumbled arrangement and in different rooms with different people. Dawn wished the two all the best as he entered the classroom. There were a few more people in the room already.

Judging from their dress, they all belonged to the elite section. They were called the gold cuffs because of the golden trim on their cuffs. Dawn was not bothered by them and sat on a desk with his student ID written on it. After half an hour, a bell rang, and the school gates were closed. The college entrance exam was underway.

A middle-aged man arrived in the room holding a bundle of papers. He came forward, handed the question papers to the front desk, and said, "Keep a copy for yourself and pass the rest to the one behind you."

The students followed the instructions. Dawn took a copy and passed the last to a girl behind him. The teacher said, "You have ten minutes to read the question papers; after the bell, you will have four hours to complete the test. Begin."

Everyone quickly undid the seal on the side of the question paper and began to read the content. The question papers were all different. Fortune Nation used its supercomputer to create these papers. The emphasis on the college entrance exam was scary. The risk of cheating was negligible, yet every room would be under strict digital and physical surveillance. If one were caught cheating, they would never be able to take the test again.

Dawn read the content calmly and kept checking off the questions he was confident answering. Ten minutes passed in a wink, and everyone heard a bell go off. Dawn took out a pen, wrote his name and credentials on the answer sheet, and began to answer.

The teacher in the room was monitoring everyone, and when he saw how calmly Dawn was writing, he raised his brow. Soon, the teacher began moving around the room with his hands behind his back. This person ensured his steps did not disturb the students, and his eyes were akin to a hawk. Nothing could escape his gaze.

Dawn did not care, and he was solely focused on his exam. He was not even worried about his attack against Trevor. From his estimate, Trevor will feel the burn during the break.

...

Hannah was standing outside the gates of the third city school building. She was waiting for Grace and Dawn to come out with food in her hands. She was not alone. Many parents have come to meet their children and help them calm down. However, a group with black armbands stood at the side, discussing something.

Hannah could not help but recall what Dawn had said to her in the cab. She mumbled, "Could this be the big show?"

When she was thinking about it, a bell rang, and the school gates were opened. Students began to come out in a single file. Some were happy, some were relaxed, and some were sobbing. Dawn came out before Grace and Saffron. From a distance, he spotted Hannah, looking at the queue anxiously.

She saw him and asked how his exam was with a gesture. Dawn smiled and gave her an okay sign. Hannah nodded; she was not surprised; this guy was a bookworm who got average marks all year round because he did not want to be in the limelight.

Soon, Saffron and Grace also came out with smiles on their faces. Trevor was among the last few people. All the people were calmly discussing things, and suddenly, the serenity was broken by a loud shout, "What do you mean I cannot take the exam?!"

Dawn loved how human minds worked in sync when they sensed chaos. All the people turned to look at Trevor, who was standing in the distance, surrounded by a group of people.

Saffron whispered, "The black flag."

Hannah opened her eyes wide as she looked at the three of them. She asked, "You mean that education department disciplinary squad? The black flag monitors?"

Saffron nodded and said, "The very same."

Hannah breathed deeply and asked, "What did you do?"

Dawn replied, "We only submitted the evidence of Trevor’s involvement with a criminal group. We also submitted the proof that he took Simone’s help in peeking through the exams in the school to maintain high marks."

Hannah opened her eyes wide and asked, "Would that not mean all this while he had been cheating?"

Grace nodded and said, "That is the intention. Cheating is a serious violation. It would have been brushed off if it had been a silly thing like we witnessed in classes, but this notorious guy leaked exam papers to get his rank. That is why he will be charged with contempt of policies, and his right to appear in the exam will be revoked till he passes all the exams on his own."

The four of them were talking as if it was a trivial matter. They were too indifferent to the plight Trevor was suffering. The former glorified class monitor was crying and begging the black flags to give him a chance, and he even called his father, but the authorities did not care.

Dawn looked at Trevor as the black flags brought him away. He said, "The next is Deckard Hymn."

Saffron rolled her eyes and said, "The intellectual exam is next. Forget about that fat guy for a few hours. You can deal with him during the vacation."

Dawn nodded and said, "I intend to do that only. Come, let us go."

They entered the school building again, leaving behind the stunned Hannah. When the door was closed again, the lady woke up and said, "I did not expect them to grow up so much."

...

The second set of examinations worked the same way as the first, and Dawn was all over it. He has been reading a lot of books to improve his intellect. The philosophy section gave him the topic of unity and Humanity.

In ten minutes, Dawn finished a three-page essay and tackled the general knowledge and history sections. His speed surprised the teacher responsible for invigilating. He made a round of the room to peek at what Dawn was even writing, and when he saw the way this young man glided over the sheet, he was surprised. Even he knew that some answers were correct, if not all.

After an hour, Dawn finished his paper, but he did not turn it in. He checked every question, and answer for any mistakes. After all, he was only a human, his cultivation did not make him invincible. He was never cautious in his past life, until Lao Xu told him the importance of revision.

Also, he could not leave the room even if his exam was finished because it would disturb the others. A bell rang, and everyone turned in their answer sheets. Some willingly and some with an unreconciled expression on their faces.

Dawn met the other two outside the school gate. They discussed the answers and were happy with their effort. Saffron asked, "What’s next?"

The young man said, "Take the night off, sleep or whatever. I would like you to visit the commercial street with me in the morning."

Saffron raised her head and asked, "What do you intend to do?"

Dawn replied, "I would like to start our own business. I wonder if you two are up for it?"

Grace and Saffron were stunned, and Dawn said, "Do not worry. I will get Liza to approve my idea. I will bring her the sample in the morning."

The girls did not know what to say, and Dawn was an enigma.
